Grilled Tofu

Wrap kitchen roll on extra firm tofu and put a not so heavy object on it and let it sit for sometime will it’s almost dry.


Now prepare the marinate with the following ingredients-


  • 3 to 4 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoon light soya sauce
  • 2 tea spoon dark soya sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 4 cloves of garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon siracha or any other hot sauce

( cornflour is totally optional, we like it without it)


Put your tofu in the marinate and let it sit for half an hour. Grill it in a griller or a pan and save your sauce for later.


Once cooked well plate the tofu, pour the remaining sauce over it. Sprinkle some chopped Coriander, spring onions and toasted white ot black sesame seed. Serve with hot rice
