Follicular Phase Seed Cycling Balls
Ingredients:
7 tbsp raw pumpkin seeds
7 tbsp flax seed
2-3 tbsp almond butter or pistachio butter
5 dates soaked and drained
1 tbsp coconut oil
1tsp vanilla extract
1/2tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp desiccated coconut
1 tbsp matcha powder plus extra for coating
1-2 tbsp almond or coconut milk
Method:
Add the coconut, flax and pumpkin seeds into the food processor and blend until a flour forms. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix until a sticky mixture forms. Add more almond milk if the mixture is too dry.
Roll into balls using your hands, then place the balls onto a plate with matcha powder and roll them evenly. Place them in an air tight container and keep in the fridge for two hours before serving.
Luteal Phase Seed Cycling Balls
Ingredients:
7 tbsp raw sunflower seeds
7 tbsp raw sesame seeds
2 tbsp desiccated coconut
2 tbsp almond butter or tahini
2 tsp beet powder plus extra for powdering
2 tbsp coconut flour
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 cup frozen raspberries or freeze dried raspberries
2-4 dates if needed! Try for sweetness
Method:
Add the coconut, sesame and sunflower seeds into the food processor and blend until a flour forms. Add the rest of the ingredients and process to obtain a sticky mixture. Roll the mixture into balls using your hands, sprinkle with rose petals and powder them with beet powder. Transfer into an airtight glass container and refrigerate for two hours.
